The Dream Day for A Wedding Phtographer
Every now and then a wedding comes along and reminds you of why you fell in love with this work. For me, Jack and Celeste's Wedding out in Clare really did a number on me. I've always loved this work but it reminded me of why I am a wedding photographer.
For Jack and Celeste, this wasn't just any other day. They wanted it to be unforgettable, and if they did start to forget, they wanted to have images that reflected the emotions of the day. They wanted documentary style wedding photographer, paired with a high class editorial look.
Jack and Celeste's connection is undeniable. It really was two people joining and becoming one, two families coming together. My favourite moment as a wedding photographer are the small moments when the family is together. When someones chasing after an uncle because they walked away, or giving their sister a side eye because they're still talking during a speech.
They decided they wanted to have a photo booth, but level it up. This was a perfect opportunity to set up a backdrop, bring in my assistant and have them run a fun, professional level photo booth. He helped bring out some fantastic playfulness and joy in the guests, which helped me deliver many photos of all the guests having a great time at the wedding.
